These molds are created with an understanding from the customer on volumes of samples and dimensional requirements. Our prototype molds run your exact Materials to be used for the production part.
1)Low volume- 1-500 pieces Is usually created thru an Aluminum Prototype mold with any actions created with handloads.
2)Middle Volume – 1-10,000 depending upon needs / These parts are usually formed from aluminum tools with simple actions and slides
3)Middle – high Volume / These parts are produced from slightly lower than production quality tooling. The molds are generally used for process validation and back-up tooling for production
4)Middle High Upgrade / These tools are prototypes built with the intention of being production tools. This usually offers the customer a cost savings of 20-35% , instead of a prototype tool and a Productions tool.
